Robert Müller-Moa

Robert Müller-Moa was born in Hanau in 1960. He studied theatre, art history and musicology from 1983 until 1990 in Erlangen and Frankfurt. Since 1986 he works as a freelance artist in Gunzenhausen, Frankfurt and Berlin.

He became known at home and abroad through many exhibitions. In the year of 2009 he published the book “Dynamische Farbenlehre”.

At the Bachwoche 2009 a unique installation came into being, consisting of 100 paintings mounted vertically onto the Kronenhof tower. His task is to fill the room with color. He uses his partly representational, partly abstract motifs – painted with silicon – as colorful parts of a large jigsaw puzzle for a picture. For the restaurant, he manufactured portraits of Johann-Sebastian Bach that followed the same color scheme as the gaudily colored tower installation.
